Technology of electrochemical sedimentation of copper-containing protective decorative color coatings
Purpose
The offered technology is intended for production of protective corrosion-resistant, stable coatings with
decorative painting in imitation of ''gold'', ''bronze'', ''brass''. It is applied to manufacture accessories for
clothes, footwear, furniture, dry goods, protective - decorative furnishing of rooms, sanitary equipment,
devices, machine tools, automobiles, etc.
Characteristics
Characteristics of coatings:
- Fineness (size of grains depending on colour of coatings is from several tens of nanometers up to 200 nanometers);
- Dense packing of grains, absence of pores;
- Thickness of the painted layer is from 0,2-0,3 microns up to 2,5 microns (depending on the coating color);
- Thickness of a sublayer of copper (in case its drawing is necessary ) from 6 up to 10-15 microns.
- Wear resistance and corrosion stability - at a level of bright nickel and higher.
- Wide scale of received color of coatings (in imitation of ''GOLD'', ''BRONZE'', ''BRASS'', ''RED'', ''PINK'', etc.).
- High reproducibility of coating color and its stability in the process of storage.
- Stability of cooper plating electrolytes and finishing processing;
- Room temperatures of working solutions;
- Ecological safety of solutions (there are no cyanide-ions and organic additives producing negative impact on environment).
