Computer training system - Technology of preparation and carrying out surgical operations

Purpose
It is intended for students of medical universities, post-graduate students and practicing surgeons. The computer textbook reflects techniques of carrying out various types of operations: general surgery, orthopedy. The computer training system is a practical guidance for carrying out operations and incorporates different sources of information into a single whole: manuals with qualitative illustrations, anatomic atlas, video data, articles from medical periodicals.

Characteristics
The system consists of:

• electronic manual;
• a set of thematic slides (and/or video material);
• interactive anatomic atlas;
• medical dictionary (an additional option).

All sections of the system are interconnected with each other. The system can be maintained both in the network and for individual usage. Information can be updated via Internet with certain periodicity.
