System of regional geomechanical monitoring.
			
		 Monitoring of a deforming processes of rock massif and Earth’s surface in areas of large-scale underground mining work
The system of regional geomechanical monitoring (SRGM) is determined as automated computer information-measuring and analytical system of control (continuous, periodic, given), diagnostics, modelling and forecast of geomechanical and connected with it mine-ecological state of underground and surface space of ecosystem in region of large-scale underground mining work proceeding.
The purpose of the RGMS creation is to increase the stability of ecosystem state in region (in a broad sense of this concept). That includes the increasing of safety level at operation of common engineering and industrial objects in a mining works influence zones, the fails and destruction’s prevention of inhabited and subsidiary structures (buildings), the balance of infringements prevention in environment and etc.).
Underground structures, mines, dams, undersurface and Eqarth surface storehouses, communications and ways, single and scale superficial structures of industrial and non-industrial assignment, engineering systems as a whole (mine and etc.), natural and artificial objects are considered as objects of tracking of SRGM.
The basic large directions of the SRGM using are:
• the development of well advanced information retrieval analytical automated system;
• duly detection of critical situations, which development can result to catastrophic consequences of mining work proceeding;
• search and substantiation of optimum strategy management of geomechanical state in a region of mining works in view of technological, economic, ecological and social factors.
Conceptually the SRGM should include the fulfilment of the following functions:
• Conducting concurrent observations for set of various physical nature processes simultaneously, directly or indirectly describing a state of controlled geomechanical space, development a wide network of observation stations for achievement of required monitoring quality;
• Continuous data accumulation about geomechanical state of region (geotechnical, geological, geomechanical conditions; information on long-term supervisions methods; results of a stress-strain state estimation and etc.) and organisation of work with information system;
• Construction of physical (hardware) and methodological structure of SRGM as an open hierarchical network.
The SRGM target data are:
• the ordered items of information on a state of mining massif and surface areas;
• forecast (long-term and current) of geomechanical processes evolution in considered region;
• recommendations on necessity of application of environment protection measures and offered their list, designed from the point of view of technical and economic efficiency and etc.
• One of the basic purpose of SRGM is formation the general information space of enterprise with maintenance of multi-user access to it. It is necessary to take into account, that the system should be maintained in real time scale, and it assumes its high reliability.
Important problems of the SRGM are:
• modelling of geomechanical processes in mining massif, undersurface and surface areas of massif;
• study and estimation of massif’s properties and structure;
• creation of geomechanical databases and knowledge bases system;
• accumulate and order of being available intelligent experience in the field of geomechanical maintenance of mining works etc.
