Data Base for profound study of algorithmization methods and testing system for carrying out Olympiads on informatics - ALGOTEST

Purpose
The ALGOTEST system is intended for support of the profound study of algorithmization methods by school and university students.

The system is used in educational process for programming training.

Characteristics
The system includes 3 basic components:

1. Training - methodical materials for studying methods of task solution, containing electronic textbooks on programming and methods of algorithmization; and lessons on various types task solving.
2. The database containing problem situations with test examples, sets of input and output data, allowing checking correctness of the suggested programs. The output data are given not only in the form of answers, but also in the form of programs, allowing checking up correctness of the decision in case of ambiguity of answers.
3. The testing system, allowing information processing on quantity and quality of the solved tasks, supervising time and in a mode of training specifying possible mistakes elimination of which leads to improvement of the program.

Technical requirements: operational system Windows 95 and higher.
