Dietary supplements based on flaxseed oil
Purpose
The compositions and technologies for production of dietary supplements based on vegetable oils, which are highly resistant to oxidation and have unique therapeutic and prophylactic properties due to the combined action of flaxseed oil components and additives of biologically active substances.
Four compositions of oxidation resistant dietary supplements based on linseed oil have been developed:
• Coenzyme Q10 - linseed oil plus
• Beta-carotene - linseed oil plus
• Selenium - vitamin E - linseed oil plus
• Milk thistle oil - linseed oil plus
Compositions of natural and synthetic antioxidants are used as le of stabilizers.

- organic selenium and vitamin E;
- Coenzyme Q10;
- beta carotene;
- natural tocopherols;
- polyunsaturated fatty acids, especially Omega-3 (the dietary supplements contain 76-100% of the physiological daily need).
The shelf life of dietary supplements based on flaxseed oil enriched with natural carotenoids, organic selenium and vitamin E, as well milk thistle oil is 12 months,
the one enriched with coenzyme Q10 - 9 months.
