Technology of production of hypoallergenic baby cookies


Purpose

A fundamentally new technology for production of quick-dissolving hypoallergenic cookies for babies. Unlike sugar and short dough cookies, the soakage properties of soluble cookies is 1.5-2.5 times higher.

Characteristics

The cookies are used for feeding of babies under the age of one year. For feeding 6-months-old babies the cookies must be previously dissolved in warm milk. In that case the baby is fed from a bottle or spoon. For babies older that 7 months the cookies are used as an addition to main courses without prior dissolution.
In the Republic of Belarus, the developed technology is used by OJSC Slodych Confectionery Factory in production of LAPUSHKA quick-dissolving cookies and other types of such products.

The cookies do not form crumbs that can get into the baby’s respiratory system.
