Purpose

Functional additives series Veda are used for production of specialized diabetic bakery and confectionery products. The additives provide correction of carbohydrate metabolism of the human body and contribute to active longevity through a new generation bakery products for people suffering from diabetes.


Characteristics

Functional additives Veda are based on natural raw materials such as oat bran, inulin, chicory root, licorice root, ginger, taurine, β-glucan, vitamin B1, vitamin B9 and contain no preservatives, flavor enhancers, coloring agents.
Scientifically substantiated composition of the functional additives Veda allowed to develop formulations of bakery products with high organoleptic characteristics “Bran Veda" and “Diabetic Veda" that are intended for nutrition of people with diabetes.
The additives are free-flowing powdery mixtures made from natural raw materials (oat bran, inulin, chicory and licorice roots, ginger, taurine, β-glucan, which are the matrix for homogeneously applied microcomponents – vitamin B1 and vitamin B9).

The components incorporated into the mixture are presented in an amount enough for exerting a preventive effect on carbohydrate metabolism of the human body.
