Sensor system with a USB interface for express evaluation of the viability of microbial populations based on microthermodynamic differential measurement of their vital activities
Purpose
The sensor system is designed for assessment of the efficiency of the antimicrobial activities. In particular it reveals vital activities of intact microbial populations as well as microbial populations exposed to inactivating factors in the concentrations range of 102 – 109 CFU/ml.
Characteristics
The method of microthermodynamic differential measurement presuppose the use of two high-value microthermoresistors with negative temperature coefficient of resistance.
This system was implemented at the Belarusian State University and Belarusian State Medical University.
