The complex is designed to register spatial and spectral distribution of hydroxyl emissions and
emissions of atomic oxygen, to process and compress and record the registered information in a
digital form in the process space experiment (SE) «Hydroxyl» from the board of International Space
Station.
For geological, aeronomic researches of upper atmosphere including forecasting possible
earthquakes.
Features
SKF consists of a board and ground complex of equipment. The board equipment includes an optical unit (OU), electronic unit (EU) and connecting cables. The ground complex includes calibration equipment to conduct independent tests and special-purpose software (SPS)
